BODEGAS FRONTAURA has been awarded with The Grand Gold Medall Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2017 to APONTE 2008, the Reserva Red from Toro Region; as well as FRONTAURA CRIANZA 2009 with the Silver Medall Concours Mondial Bruxelles 2017. This international recognition comes to consolidate FRONTAURA Winery as the referential red wines from Toro Region (Spain)
The annual Bruxelles Concours is represented by a jury of professionals and specialists from different countries, and this edition has been held in Valladolid, Spain, which for a few days has been the world wine capital. Our reds were recognized among 9,000 wine samples from all over the world
Both awards support FRONTAURA winery work developed in Toro Region with Tempranillo variety, as well as FRONTAURA quality commitment to offer the international consumers the best value of Tempranillo from Spain.
The awarded wine references, from 2008 and 2009 vintages, despite being so elegant, sensual and refined reds, reflect not only the potential and special expressive features provided by Toro Region “terroir” but also the complexity of the excellence in Frontaura wine making.
These awards are completed with the GOLD MEDAL AND SILVER CONCOURS BRUXELLES 2017 for our reds in RIBERA DEL DUERO. NEXUS + 2011 our Reserva, has been awarded with the GOLD MEDAL, and NEXUS CRIANZA with the SILVER MEDAL.
NEXUS&FRONTAURA has received a great recognition to all the reds which were run to Bruxelles competition.
